Art Month at Russian International School has come to an end. As part of Art Month, we held a variety of fun and engaging activities that immersed our students in the world of art and creativity!

8th March Celebration

The Russian International School held wonderful concerts, dedicated to the 8th of March. The children prepared wonderful, touching performances where they recited poems and songs for their mothers and grandmothers. And, of course, there was dancing too!

Polymer Clay Modeling Masterclasses

For primary school pupils there was a masterclass on polymer clay moulding, involving the creation of the children's own ornaments and souvenirs. Working with clay develops artistic taste, helps to convey emotions, and is also really fun!

Discover the Artist Project

RIS secondary school pupils took part in an exciting 'Discover the Artist' project, in which pupils do both individual and collective work, prepare a presentation, and decorate their classrooms in the style of a foreign or Russian artist of their choice!

Masterclass with a Guest Artist

A workshop with a guest artist, Anna Koval, was held for middle and high school students. The master class was called "Gold" and consists in painting with gold leaf. This workshop was aimed at developing precise motor skills and enhancing creativity.

Creative Play

An exciting and creative activity took place for primary school pupils. The children were divided into teams and created a collaborative work of art. The theme was "Springtime", with each child contributing to the overall picture.

Way To Success" Project

This time, the guest of the Russian International School was Alexander Lvovich Vainshtein.

Alexander is a producer, journalist, and television presenter, and also the founder of the Kremlin Cup tennis tournament.

During the meeting, Alexander shared with the pupils the essential ingredients for success and realisation of their dreams! He reminded the children that it is not only important what you do, but also why you do it, and with whom, stressing that you should always remain human and learn to make your own luck!

Sophia Charity Project

This Spring, Russian International School students took part in a charity project supported by the Sofia Foundation, aimed at helping the elderly. RIS held a meeting with a representative of the foundation, where they discussed important issues regarding the need to help the elderly. Afterwards, the children wrote letters and cards to them, and also prepared some nice little gifts.
