The format of the lessons: individual lessons, work in mini-groups, distance learning via Skype.

Our main principle is a 100% individual approach. We will choose a programme that is effective for your child, and if there is not one, we will work one out.

GCSE

Now more and more parents are eager to send their children to study abroad and one of the most popular destinations is Great Britain, which is famous worldwide for high educational standards.

The GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) exam is  mandatory in the UK for children of 16 years, confirming the receipt of secondary education. In English schools, GSCE exams are usually awarded in different subjects (from 5 to 10), the choice of which is determined by the students themselves, but English, Mathematics, and Natural Sciences are obligatory.

The most prestigious educational institutions in England require students to achieve high grades in their GCSE exams.

The standard course of preparation for the GCSE exams in the Russian International School is two years, from 14 to 16 years. If the student is already 15 years old, he can pass the One Year GCSE programme in some subjects, but this option is applicable only for those who speak English well.

A-LEVEL

A-Level is a British two-year programme in high school, the main purpose of which is to prepare schoolchildren for admission to higher education.

The points received for the A-Level exams are the most important criterion for admission to university, so preparation for them should be approached as seriously and thoroughly as possible.

Teachers of the Russian International School have a lot of experience in preparing students for the A-Levels. Suitable subjects will be chosen based on the students’ ability and on the plans of the student and his family.
