Anna Osipova, a student of Russian International School, answered several questions for Kids' Time.

What motivates you to learn and develop, to gain new knowledge?

I am motivated by my curiosity about life. I always want to learn something new. The more I learn, the more curious and interesting it becomes. The world of knowledge is endless, and I've just managed to dip my fingers in the water. It always seems to me that there is little. There's so much more that you can and should learn!

Have you already developed your formula for success?

Everyone has their own formula! You just need to discover, understand and adjust it to yourself. My formula for success is to set a goal, to strive for it every day! For me, it's important never to lose hope or dream, to work hard. Of course, do not forget about rest and self-development. 

Why is education important for you?

Education is the path to success. I see education as the key that opens any door in life. I like that at my school we study two programmes at once: international and Russian. This will give me the opportunity to enter any university anywhere in the world - you see, all the doors are open to me! In addition, a well-educated person is always interesting to talk to, confident in himself and most often becomes very successful. I strive to become such a person.

How do you see your future?

I see my future happy, with my family and a good profession. 


What do you think is most important in life?

I consider love, friendship and memories to be the most important things in life. I think you need to surround yourself with good people and love without knowing any boundaries.  And our memories are what stays with us for life. 

Tell us about your hobbies outside of education?

I like drawing, reading fiction and writing stories very much. It develops and relaxes me. I hope that someday, maybe in the near future, I will be able to write and publish my book.

What role does sport play in your life?

Sport holds not only the body but also the mind in tone. In order for me to learn a lot, I also need a lot of different sports. I love rugby very much. That's what I used to do in high school in Canada. I advise everyone to try it for once in their lives!

Why are foreign languages important?

Foreign languages are a trump card that allows you to speak to anyone anywhere in the world. This is how we learn about different cultures, traditions and the world. Foreign languages are new friends, new places, new life experiences.
